Tine Melzer connects philosophy of language with visual art and her main motif is language. She works as an artist and researcher and has taught at academies and universities since 2004. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally. She studied Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam and Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, before undertaking post-graduate rese- arch at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten and receiving a PhD from the University of Plymouth, UK. Rollo Press recently pu- blished Taxidermy for Language-Animals, A book on stuffed words by Tine Melzer.
Since 2014 teaching at Bern University of the Arts / Hochschu- le der Künste Bern, CH. Tutor at MA CAP Contemporary Arts Practice and lecturer at the Department Art & Design.
