Wardrobe plaids, 2003
The seams of a garment are respectively drawn from the front, left and right and the back side. By realigning the seams horizontally and vertically in a straight line, a diamond square is being formed. By connecting these to one another and applying a form of repetiton, a chequered pattern evolves. Each piece of garment will have its own check pattern, based on its seams.
