The title means: Below the normal zero of the water-level. Anett Frontzek has chosen two seizes of grey dots to indicate the water-level of a part of the Baltic Sea. She also indicated wrecks using red dots. The book contains the artist's map of the Baltic Sea, "Mecklenburger Bucht", eastern part, solely expressed in these dots printed on transparent paper. The map has been devided into 14 sub-maps on subsequent right pages.
Working on this publication, the artist was interested in the naturally formed and predominantly rural Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast and the special hydrographic conditions of the Baltic Sea. The book is a visual study of the depth of the Baltic Sea.
In this book there are two differences in depth (two diameters of dots) The red dots are ship wrecks.
